All business should decide on their unique advertising goals before they start advertising on Facebook, as some goals can be reached by boosting a post and others can be reached by creating a Facebook ad. The following guide explains the ways boosted posts are similar and different and when you should use either.
A boosted post is a post to your Page’s timeline that you can apply money to in order to boost it to an audience of your choosing. This is the simplest way to advertise on Facebook. Boosted posts differ from Facebook ads because they are not created in Ads Manager and don’t have all of the same customization features.
According to data released by advertising intelligence platform MediaRadar, spending on podcast advertising was up over 20% YoY in 2021. Q4 ad spend alone was $160 million, making a total of $590 million for the year. It is estimated that more than a third of Americans now listen to podcasts regularly. Technology brands became the biggest spenders, pushing media into second place.
Familiar names among the top 10 highest spending podcast advertisers are Amazon, Capital One, Comcast and State Farm. Most podcast advertising is located midroll with durations of 30 and 60 seconds being most common. Brands seem confident in the effectiveness of podcast advertising, with 79% of advertisers from 2020 continuing to buy in 2021.
Before Amazon’s Alexa became known as the e-commerce giant’s voice assistant, it was the name of the company’s web ranking site. It was established in 1996 and became famous sometime ago for analyzing web traffic and listing the most popular websites around the world. The service also offers paid subscriptions for those who want detailed SEO analytics and insights. Now, Amazon has announced that it’s retiring Alexa.com on May 1st, 2022, just a month after it celebrates its 26th anniversary.
In its announcement, the company said:
